Designed with legibility in mind for functional gameplay. You can fold up the board or use it to quickly scoop away the whole game… Either way it fits just right in the box.
One team is made of porcelain with misty grey glaze. The other team is made of dark brown clay with Albany black glaze.
Usually in my chess sets, I make the queen the tallest piece, because she is objectively the most powerful.
